Friday 5th December - Christmas Shadow puppets - Free Entry

An evening of shadow play with Indefinite Articles - explore techniques and effects of shadow theatre, create a simple shadow puppet ….. discover your own shadow !

Help to make some Christmas magic at our Shadowpuppets evening! It’s an opportunity to work with a professional shadowplayer, to make your own shadowpuppet, and to experiment or simply to enjoy watching the creativity of others.

We will be running 3 sessions:

4pm - 5pm

5.15pm - 6.15pm

6.30 - 7.30pm

This is an event for all ages to enjoy but children must be accompanied by an adult.

It would be helpful to know if you are planning to join one of the workshop sessions; if so, please email us and let us know which session you would like to be part of. We hope not to have to turn anyone away but unfortunately we cannot guarantee places for everyone. But please don’t be put off coming along anyway as drop-in activity will also be happening.

There will be drinks and light refreshments for sale in aid of Fram Arts.

Please dress warmly as the building is unheated ( a capital appeal including for heating will kick off next year!)

This is one of several ‘Christmas in Framlingham’ events over

5th and 6th December, kindly supported by Framlingham Town Council and made possible by a group of brilliant volunteers - thank you to them all.

Friday 5th will also include a lantern parade leaving the castle at 5pm, plus other things going on in and around the Market Hill. And evening shopping. Framlingham is a joy of a town by day and has Dickensian winter charm in the evening too - come and enjoy it !
