Events so far ….

These have been run or curated by a wide range of artists and groups. Many of the artists testing the building as a gallery or events space have booked repeat visits. The Theatre has also hosted a premiere of a stage version of Akenfield and a touring production of the Magic Lamp.

Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham have now held their final year A level art show in the building for 2 years running, which has been a tremendous opportunity to launch the careers of young artists in the community. The building has also worked well for spoken word events such as Flipside and for arts-based workshops.

In 2022 a Ukraine fundraising concert took place in the building. This was a great success in terms of bringing people in and in bringing the community together - but the building has a challenging acoustic which needs to be improved if we are to have more music in the building.
